Capture of the Day – August 5th 2009

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

So This is my first real photo of the day that I actually took (within a day). Yesterday during class there was a really cool sunset, my brother told me to go outside and take a picture of the moon with the clouds like they are in the photo, but my teacher was talking so I couldn’t leave to go take it. After he quit talking we got a break and I ran outside to take this.

I took 10 images and stitched them all together to make a panorama. I shot it at 1/125 sec at f/5.0 ISO 400 at 50mm, hand held.

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

So my capture of the day hasn’t been going very well, its easy to forget about something that is not in your daily routine already, so here is three for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This Panorama was taken in the parking lot of  my church. This consisted of 27 photographs, First merged into HDR, then I had 9 photos from that and merged them all together. My camera settings were 1/80sec at F/8.0 ISO 400 and shot at 18mm.

This flower was shot at 1/125 sec at f/13, ISO 400 and with a 50mm macro lens.
I used an off camera flash at about 1/8 power, it was remotely set off with a Catus V2s trigger.
