Tuesday, September 1st, 2009Today I was messing around with some macro photography. The only problem is that I have a 50mm macro, which means I cannot magnify this close with it. So my solution is to get a ring adapter (52mm) so I can mount 2 lenses front glass to front glass. I used my 100-300mm and my 50mm f/1.4. I mounted the longer lens to my camera, then I put my ring adapter on that then I put my 50mm on that so it is facing backwards. My result was this.

Thursday, August 27th, 2009This is a photo I took when I was experimenting with off camera flash. I took this one awhile ago back in march. I would like to go experiment with it more in the near future.
This was taken with a Canon 50D ISO100 at f/14 for 163 seconds, 18-55mm lens. I used a 285hv speedlite.
